Within a Victorian property on Portobello Road, the home is reconfigured around a double-height space and a private mezzanine. A carefully composed stair connects the levels, giving the interior a new sense of openness.
The project brings together renovation, an open-plan layout and a covered terrace within the former rear dormer area. Pale materials, glass and light from above allow the new elements to sit quietly within the volume.
