Stoke Newington
Stoke Newington, London / Construction and management
A distinct presence in the street.
Construction and management by Craft Design. Design by Mad Atelier.
Dark horizontal cladding and a projecting upper-level window give this Stoke Newington project a clear identity beside its brick neighbours. The composition draws together a compact street frontage and a strongly expressed vertical form.
Inside, timber surfaces, white walls and a slender stair introduce a lighter character. Large openings connect the living space with the outdoors, while the stair and landing bring natural light into the centre of the interior.
