Armando Elias holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London (DRL) and previously studied architecture at the Central University of Venezuela, graduating with Honours in 2001.
Since relocating to London in 2002, he has worked internationally across a wide range of projects, gaining experience at leading practices including Foster + Partners, Murphy Jahn, Hamilton, ARUP, and Woods Bagot.
His work is guided by the belief that architecture is fundamentally a crafted discipline, where concept, materiality, and construction are inseparable.
Beyond architecture, he draws inspiration from photography, motorbikes, classic cars, travel, and art—interests that inform his sensitivity to proportion, movement, and materiality.
