Clapham garden house
Clapham, London / House extension & interiors
A new connection to the garden.
A broad, light-filled rear extension gives this London home a generous setting for cooking, dining and gathering. Full-height glazing connects the interior to a planted garden, while the original house remains a distinct presence above.
Inside, a calm palette of stone, timber and pale cabinetry brings continuity to the kitchen and dining spaces. Views through the house draw the eye towards the garden; exposed brick and carefully framed openings keep the character of the existing building in view.
